THE BORGO
Since the time of the Etruscans, the Borgo Hamlet has been an important center for commerce, trade, craft and agriculture. Today, The Artimino Castle maintains most of its Medieval character - evident by the concentric planimetry, the old walls still standing, the huge entrance gate surmounted by the old crenellated tower.
Within the Borgo, the Enoteca "Cantina del Redi," with it's panoramic terrace, offers an 'al fresco' dining experience of traditional Tuscan cuisine, and the "Bacco Goloso" shop sells products, wines and olive oils from the on site Farm.
Within the Borgo, some of the old buildings have been converted into beautiful apartments, with unique and antique features, these wonderful apartments offer us a reminder of the simple pleasures of a life lived slowly so many centuries ago. Completely restored, the apartments feature all the modern conveniences and include kitchenette, SAT/TV, Internet, all modern necessities. There is also a swimming pool and mountain bikes within the complex and guests are welcome to use all the facilities of the Hotel Paggeria Medicea.

In the old Hamlet of Artimino, we offer 59 self-catering unique apartments as an alternative to the rooms at the Hotel Paggeria Medicea.

Cantina del Redi
Over the last two centuries these buildings were used for the purposes of turning the local grapes into the noble wines such as "Il Carmignano".
The Enoteca "Cantina Del Redi," located within the Borgo Di Artimino, has maintained the walls of the centuries old medieval castle. The Cantina specialises in typical Tuscan nibbles and traditional Tuscan dishes.

Exclusively established to sell the wines and olive oils produced on the Estate of Artimino, "IL BACCO," offers a wide selection of local and typical Tuscan produce.
